10-member temporary Teesta Yuva Morcha Committee formed

KALIMPONG, June 24:
A
week after the stir caused by the Teesta Morcha office bearers because of the
Gorkha Territorial Administration (GTA) demarcation notice, the Highway
Committee was fragmented followed by the shunning of a Yuva Morcha politician
as per the orders of the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) Chief, Bimal Gurung. The
Teesta Morcha Branch running without any line of action after the series of
incidents today held an imperative meeting at the Triveni Tourist Lodge to
discuss and deliberate about the Teesta Yuva Morcha members in the presence of
the Central Committee Yuva Morcha politician along with the Lopchu- Pesok
Constituency President, Ramesh Lama.
It
was decided in the meeting that the Teesta Yuva Morcha will run under the
leadership of its Vice President, JK Rai for the time being. Also a 10 member
temporary Yuva Morcha Committee was formed today consisting of Roshan Bhujel,
Sandeep Tamang, Ramesh Gupta, Sushil Thapa, Somel Chettri along with other
members.
The
Lopchu- Pesok Constituency President, Lama in his address, pinpointing the
politicians who recently joined Trinamool after the GTA demarcation notice,
cautioned them not to mislead the youths and the general public by trying to
tempt them through their faulty ways. “The opposition Party cannot expand
themselves in our own home region because the public has full faith on the
Morcha Chief”, he asserted.
The
Gorkha Janmukti Yuva Morcha (GJYM) Vice President, Sanjay Thulung,
Organizational Secretary, Siddarth Rai, Parveen Lama along with the Lopchu-
Pesok Committee office bearers were present during the meeting.
