‘If independent Sancha Bir Subba wins, GJM will not include him’-Gurung Election campaign meeting held at 41 No Nimbong Gitabling constituency

“41
No Nimbong Gitabling constituency is the single constituency in the whole 45
seats where the Gorkha Janamukti candidate shall contest with the erstwhile GJM
member who has stood as independent after not getting the party ticket” said
GJM President Bimal Gurung addressing the Gorkhaland Territorial election
campaign meeting at 41 No Nimbong Gitabling constituency today.
After
the withdrawal of the Trinamool Congress from the GTA election on July 23, Morcha
shall handle the rest 44 constituencies, except the Nimbong where there is set
to be election he said. “If the independent candidate Sancha Bir Subba happens
to win from the constituency, the party shall not accept him” said Gurung. The
party has placed its capable candidate as GTA has to be administered well for
which the people should support the party candidate rather supporting the independent
said Gurung.
The
GTA shall build up the Hills for which the 44 months agitation has remained
peaceful and non violent said Gurung. After the formation of the GTA, the party
shall also march for the inclusion of the Terai-Dooars for which the Fact Finding
Verification committee is also functioning he added.
Ringing
a bell on Gorkhaland issue, Gurung said that the issue of Gorkhaland will be
never elapsed and sidelined by the GJM.
Also targeting the contractors Gurung today
warned them to carry their works at the bests.
The
meeting was also addressed by Dr RB Bhujel, Kalyan Dewan, and Pradeep Pradhan.
