Khas Hitkari Sammelan honours toppers

The
Khas Hitkari Sammelan, Bombasti
Branch today felicitated the toppers of the Secondary, Senior Secondary and the
College students in a felicitation programme organized at the Saraswati School.
The programme which was held under the Chairmanship of Vedanta Pokhrel had
Shanti Sharma as the Chief Guest on the occasion.
A
total of 14 students of the Bombasti branch, who have done excellence in their
exams were honoured by the guests with trophies and cash. Bidhya Chettri was
chosen as the best student and Komal Kaushik Baral who stood first in higher
studies at the Sikkim University was honoured with the Hemlall Khanal Visistha Shaaikshik award. Earlier the welcome speech was delivered by
Tika Poudyal and the programme was hosted by Benay Nepal.
It
may be mentioned here that such programmes are organized annually to encourage
the students.
