3 died 3 injured at road mishap near Hanuman Jhora

A Spacio bearing no WB
76-4625 skidded 300fts below the road
near Hanuman Jhora along the National Highway31A around 8pm yesterday
night. The vehicle
which was carrying 7 passengers (including driver) was heading from
Gangtok to
Siliguri. All the injured were rescued from the spot and were rushed to
Rambi
hospital immediately. One of the passengers wangchuk wangdi resident of
gangtok who was severely injured died in
the hospital .deepak tamang of gantok relative of wangdi was lucky
enough to get out safe in the accident where as the five other which
include the driver nirmal chettri,krishna majumdar alok bhowmick sunil
tamang and bikash tiruwa was reffered to siliguri anandloke hospital
where today morning krishna majumdar of banarhat and alok bhowmick of kapurgachi lost the fight for their life .sunil
tamang works in army and bikash tiruwa in bsf who were returning back
from their home to join their duty also became the victim of the
devastating accident both have back and head injury and both condition
is out of stable.The cause of accident according to injured person was
overspeed.The vehicle have been recovered today and have been bought to
rambi police post.
