Awareness programme on Cooperative concludes

The 5day long awareness
programme of the Cooperative Management Centre being conducted at various
schools of Kalimpong concluded today. about 30 students of Algarah HS, Ganesh
HS, SUMI, Pranami Balika Vidya Mandir and Jubilee HS were edified about various
helps delivered by the Cooperative Bank and organizations connected with the
Cooperative.
The Kalimpong MLA, Dr
Harka Bahadur Chettri who was present during the concluding function spoke
about the facilities provided by the Cooperatives.
The Principal of the
Centre, CB Roy informed that the awareness programme was conducted to let the
students know about the schemes which will further help them become self
employed and self reliant.
The representatives of
the Cooperative Bank and Cooperative organizations highlighted about the
process of constituting a Cooperative.
Lecturer, Ratna Singh
gave away the certificates to the 30 students who attended the 5daylong
programme.
