There has been no halt to the bike thefts a Pedong, 21 kms away from the main town. Despite of many efforts to stop this, the graph of bike thefts seems to be ascending. One fresh incident was reported missing yesterday when a chained Pulsar bike bearing no WB 74Y/3132 outside a house was stolen. After the thief/ thieves stole the bike without coming into anybody’s notice, there has arose a question regarding security in the area. The people are now concerned about the Police’s incapability in stopping such crimes in a small place like Pedong.
