Gorkha Janmukti Karmachari Sangathan, Moonsung Branch today
felicitated Sabhasad Samuel Gurung and 39 Rangpo Moonsung constituency Sabhasad
Gopal Ruchal.
The function was held under the chairmanship of the President
of the Sanghatan SD Sherpa. Moonsung
Sinkona Zone President NS Gurung, Secretary Dhiraj Rai, member Dipen Sharma
were also present in the function.
The function was
organized mainly to welcome and congratulate the two Sabhasads on their triumph
in the recent GTA elections. The organising committee presented citation to the
Sabhasads. The programme was hosted by Krishan Rai and had participation from
the Department and the Sangathan.

Pedong residents dwell
in darkness

The residents of Pedong
have been fighting with electricity supply shortage. The locals of the place
inform that the electricity is cut short without any prior notice. The highly
affected are the school students. This issue has now become somewhat like an
untreatable disease. The locals have many times approached the concerned
department seeking for solution of this never ending problem. However, all
their woes have fallen to deaf ears. Therefore, the Pedong residents have now
demanded to establish a Group Supply office to tackle the problem.
