16 ICSC listed schools of the hills partook in the Power Point Presentation Competition on the theme, ‘Sport and Games’, organized at Mount Carmel School today. The students through their presentations
gave a brief history of tennis, football, hockey, cricket, etc. The Sub divisional Officer, LN Sherpa, was present as the chief guest along with Municipality Vice President, Ganga Maya Gurung, Samuel Magranti and Principals of different schools. The ICSC schools from Darjeeling, Kurseong, Kalimpong and Mirik participated in the said competition. Bikram Chettri from St Joseph Convent, Youvraj Chettri
from St Augustine School and Vineet Chettri from Sikkim Manipal University were the judges. Sabrina Sodemba, Principal of Mt Carmel said that such competitions are held yearly to motivate the students
into the field of sports.
