Kalimpong, September 25:

2 died while 2 sustained injuries in a road mishap yesterday at around 8 p.m. at Nimbong, 50kms away from Kalimpong town. The Eicher vehicle bearing number WB 73C/3806 fell 500ft below. The bad road condition is being blamed for the accident. The deceased have been identified as Narad Chetrri (18) and Tika Ram Chettri (38), both residents of Sanyasi Dara, Nimbong, while the survivors are Arjun Tamang (18) and Chandra Chettri (22). Both of them have been admitted to Kalimpong Sub Divisional Hospital. The driver of the vehicle is reported absconding since the incident. The bodies after post mortem were handed over to its family members.
