Waste management through German technology

A programme was held
today at the Gorkha Dukh Niwarak Sammelan (GDNS) hall between the Municipality
and the public. The Municipality President, LB Pariyar, Vice President, Ganga
Maya Gurung, various ward councilors, the GTA Sabhasad also the Municpality
head, Sunil Pradhan, GDNS President, Uday Kumai, Secretary, RL Trikhatri,
representatives of the Kalimpong Conservation Committee and other were present
during the programme.
Many queries and
suggestions related to the dumping issue in Kalimpong were raised during the
programme. The Municipality informed the gathering that very soon the dry and
the wet wastes will be managed with the help of German technology.
Litterateur PR Pradhan
said that this is for the very 1st time that such kind of programme
is being organized in the town. He also appreciated the works of the
Minicpality
