3 daylong Creative Writing Workshop convenes

Kalimpong, October 13:
As a part of the silver
jubilee of the Kalimpong College, many programmes are being conducted
throughout the year. The three daylong Creative Writing Workshop which
commenced today is a part of the celebrations. Linguist cum Principal of Tri
Bhuwan University, Madhav Prasad Pokhrel presided over as the day’s chief guest
along with Kalimpong MLA Dr Harka Bahadur Chettri.
The students were
briefed about the basics of poetry, story and essay writing. Dr Rimi Chatterjee
from Jadavpur University, litterateur Dr Rajendra Bhandari, poet Sudhir Chettri
and Anmol Prasad were the resource persons.
A blood donation camp
was also organized during the programme today.
