ABG(T)BA Sub Div Committee sets up its office

Kalimpong, October 06:
The
office of the Akhil Bharatiya Gurung (Tamu) Buddhist Association, Sub
Divisional Committee, at Himali Nagar Gurung House situated at Relli
Road, Kalimpong was inaugurated by the Association’s District President,
Bel Prasad Gurung after the necessary religious rites being performed
by Buddhist religious leader, Rinchen Gurung. The inauguration programme
held today under the presidentship of Narendra Prasad Gurung had the
presence of Gurng representatives from 17 different Gurung Associations
of Kalimpong. Narendra Prasad Gurung said that the main aim to set up
the office is to preserve the Gurung language, culture and tradition and
