GTF aims to expand their party at a national level

Kalimpong, October 13:
A meeting of the
Gorkhaland Task Force (GTF) held under the presidentship of the GTF national
working member, Dr Anos Das Pradhan, today decided on the expansion of the GTF
at different States of the nation. The gathering made a decision to meet the
Chief Minister of Sikkim, Pawan Chamling foremostly, after which they will be
meeting up with all the political parties of Sikkim along with organizations
appealing them to join hands with the GTF.
It was also decided
during the meet that the GTF will hold a seminar at Kalimpong in the first week
of December this year.
The GTF national
co-ordinator, R Moktan informed that a similar seminar of the GTF will be
organized at Assam on 17th and 18th November. Nanda
Kirati Dewan, a journalist of Assam has been chosen as the GTF North East
co-ordinator. A book on Gorkhaland titled, ‘A Phase of Gorkhaland’, will also
be published by the Force. Further, he notified that the GTF faction will be
meeting with the political leaders and parliamentarians of different States
during the Parliament’s Winter Session.
The Vice President of
Communist Party of Revolutionary Marxist (CPRM), JB Rai, Kishore Pradhan, Gorkha
Rashtriya Nirman Morcha (GRNM) Secretary, John Poudyal, Akhil Bahratiya Gorkha
League’s (ABGL) Pratap Khati, Laxuman Pradhan, SK Pradhan, Theba Tamang and
Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh (BGP) General Secretary, Sukhman Moktan were also
present during the meet.
