Similar to every year, the Milani Club of Kalimpong will be organizing Durga Puja at the Town Hall premises, this year also. The Club since 1929 have been organizing the Puja every Dusshera without fail. The Puja will be commenced from Oct 20th onwards and will be inaugurated by the Mangal Dham Guru, 108th Mohan Priyacharya. Meanwhile, the Puja pandal at the Town Hall premises is almost ready. The Club’s Puja has always been an attraction for Kalimpong during Dusshera.

Likewise, many other Puja pandals are underway at different places of Kalimpong. Around 90- 100 Pujas are being organized in the sub division. The Kalimpong Police are also on their tips and toes in order to prevent any mishaps during the Puja. The Puja pandals at Than Dara, Main Road, Ongden Road, 10th Mile, Haat Bazaar, Bagh Dhara, Tripai Fatak, etc. are getting their finishing touches.
