A report on an assault
on a minor girl has been registered at the Kalimpong Thana on September 28,
2012. The Kalimpong Thana ASP, Songmit Lepcha today informing about the same
said that the incident took place on September 21, 2012 at Chukhim, a remote
village under Kalimpong Sub Division. The victim is a 4 year old girl child,
she added. Dhan Maya Mukhia, the mother of the victim lodged a report against
one Rajen Subba regarding the incident. The minor girl is undergoing treatment
at Kalimpong Sub Divisional hospital, while the accused remains absconding.
Further, the ASP has assured to catch hold of the accused soon.Tags: LOCAL
