A Shiv Buddha Mandir has been established at Shivli, under Kalimpong Block II. With an aim to promote pilgrimage tourism, the said Mandir was inaugurated today preceded by religious rituals. The GTA Deputy Executive Chief, Col Ramesh Alley was the chief guest of the programme and the 38 no Lava Lingsey Constituency, GTA Sabhasad, CP Poudyal was present as the guest of honour along with GJM Lava Branch secretary, Mani Tamang. The Mandir has been constructed by Sarda Sherpa and family. Sarda at present resides in Australia.
