The Kalimpong Gorkha Dukh Niwarak Sammelan (GDNS) today met with the administration and put forward the issues related to the filling up of KYC forms, drinking water, traffic and electricity bill issues. As the last date for filling up the KYC forms are nearing, the gas agencies are being flocked by the consumers. During such times, there stand chances of incidents to occur. The GDNS President, Udai Kumai today questioned the functioning of the administration to the Sub Divisional Officer, LN Sherpa. To which Sherpa answered that the administration had already directed the gas agencies on this matter 1and ½ months ago so that there is no inconvenience to the public for filling up of the forms.

The GDNS on September 21 had a called on a meeting on all the gas agencies but the agency people did not attend due to which the meet had to be cancelled. The Patron of the GDNS, educationist PR Pradhan speaking on this matter said that the people are facing issues everywhere.

The SDO, has assured to call on the 3 gas agencies of Kalimpong and make them understand about the situation.

The GDNS has also decided to hold a meeting with the officials of the PHE and Neora regarding the drinking water issue.
