GJM paces its expansion process
MUKESH SHARMA
Kalimpong, November 28:
The Gorkha Janmukti
Morcha (GJM) has paced its organizational process in the hills. Under the
direction of the GJM Chief, Bimal Gurung the Constituency level programmes has
set off. Under the same, a meeting by the Morcha was held at the 33 No Chibo-
Tashiding Constituency today.
The GTA Sabhasad, Kazim
Tshering Bhutia informed that the meetings have been fixed based on the
decision of the GJM leader of selecting 32 representatives for the Constituency
level Committees. Thus, during today’s meet the representatives for the
branches, sub branches and zones were selected. The to-be formed Committee will
not have any President or Secretary. The main aim is to make the Committee
strong in the Constituencies.
“We are least bothered
about what the other political factions are doing”, replied Bhutia when asked
when asked if the Morcha has started their organizational works looking after
the Gorkha National Liberation Front’s (GNLF) Party expansion works. The Sabhasad
added that the GNLF for 21 years spoiled everything in the hills and now the
Morcha is bringing everything back to place. Necessary development works are
being carried out in the areas, added Bhutia.
