HSWS celebrates its 13th foundation day

Kalimpong, November 23:
The Hill Social Welfare
Society (HSWS) celebrated its 13th Foundation Day at its office
situated at Pritaam Road, Kalimpong today.
Educationist, PR Pradhan presided over as the chief guest.
Pradhan in his address
appreciated the society’s effort towards building woman empowerment. Mentioning
that the society does not have its own office, he appealed the public to
support the society in establishing its own office building.
The Secretary of the
organization, Shobha Chettri highlighted the social activities being carried
out by the organization at present. The society has been helping in providing
employment to the unemployed, she notified.
Earlier, the programme
started with cutting of the cake and offering prayers to Sai Baba.
The President of the
society, Dinesh Chandra Poudyal, Uden Pempa Hissey, ML Sundas and the present
and the former members of the society were also present.
