The Mela Ground of Kalimpong swarmed with devotees who gathered to observe Chatt puja today. Emblazoned with lights and flowers, the ground catered as the main venue for the said puja. Not only the Bihari community, but the Nepali and Marwari community also partook in the auspicious occasion. The Chatt Puja Celebration Committee did not gather funds from individuals this year. Instead, a donation counter was set up at the ground, and those willing to donate did the needful.
