Lok adalat solves 43 cases

The lok adalat held by the sub division legal services
committee Kalimpong court today solved 43 cases. The loans and the court cases,
which had been awaiting since many years were solved. The loans of the state
bank Kalimpong branch and Teesta union bank loans were sorted out.
The adalat had mostly the people who were stranded not having
their own advocates. The two bench of judges consisted of the retired district
judge cum the veteran spokesperson of the Bar association P Pradhan and TT
Bhutia and the second bench had veteran spokesperson DK Bista and retired wing commander
Prafful Rao. The hearing for 43 cases were held, where Rs 28 lakhs 42 thousands
were relaxed by the court and Rs 57 thousands were collectievely given to the
different banks
