An anti-drug rally was today organized by the Gorkha Janmukti Yuwa Morcha in association with the Vidharthi Morcha which started from the party office, encircled the town and ended at the Damber Chowk into a meeting.

The general secretary of the Vidharthi Morcha Deep Thapa addressing the gathering said that the drug menace has been decaying the society of which the youth has been adversely affected. The administration has to strictly check the outsourcing of the drugs resulting a sustainable brake on it he added.

Yuwa Morcha spokesperson Binay Ghising also said that drug abuse has completely devastated the society. If the police cannot handle the situation, the charge may be given to the Yuwa Morcha he said. The test of the HIV/AIDS is for free and the people can approach the hospital for the test he informed.
