Bank employees pickets SBI

Kalimpong, December 20:
The public sector banks of Kalimpong too followed the strike called on by the All India Bank Workers Association, Bank Workers Union and All India Bank Officer Association. Apart from State Bank of India, all other banks remained closed opposing the bill passed in the Parliament. The employees of different banks picketed the SBI not allowing it to function. It caused inconvenience to the public at large. However, the functioning of ATM machines brought some relief.Tags: LOCAL
