The GJM general secretary Roshan Giri in his strong words today appealed the people to be prepared for the Gorkhaland agitation. Giri said that the centre and the state are well aware that the GTA is a temporary set-up, but the real goal was the Gorkhaland.

If the centre declares Telengana, Gorkhalalnd is ought to be formed held Giri. The people should be ready for the massive agitation if the centre sidelines the demand of Gorkhaland this time too.

He also informed that the routine for upcoming Gorkhaland agitation will be decided in the upcoming public meeting at Darjeeling on February 12. The people holds an inseparable part in a Republic and the centre must well think on the matter said Giri.

Expressing his sadness, Giri said that when a Gorkha soldier gives his life protecting the country, he gets national identification, but when the same Gorkha demands his rights, he is often labeled as a foreigner.

He also informed that the key members of the GJM will sit for dharna at the Jantar Mantar demanding Gorkhaland. Lastly he appealed the people to get ready for the agitation.
