The Communist Party of Revolutionary Marxists (CPRM)  Kalimpong Regional Committee spokesperson Mohan Poudyal today said that the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha deep from the hearts does not want Gorkhaland. Clarifying it, he stated that the GJM snatched and tore away the entire posters meant for Gorkhaland, by the opposition parties at Kurseong. There is no democracy in the Hills as whenever the opposition tries to do something for Gorkhaland the GJM obstructs it said Poudyal.

He held that the GJM should immediately stop doing the shameful act. The GJM should bring in public the resolution passed for Gorkhaland in the GTA and must inform the people till when it will get passed.

The GJM must also know that three states viz  Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and the Uttar Pradesh was granted statehood during the year 2000, and BJP did not had majority in the above states but only at the centre.

The CPRM Regional president Kishor Pradhan said that one has to fight honestly for the attainment of Gorkhaland. The GJM has been time and again claiming it to be their last agitation for Gorkhaland but the term ‘last’ does not seems to end for them.

‘If it is the last war than more friends should be made than enemies’ said Pradhan. In a republic country like India, every party has the right to voice their issues and problems. The anti-social elements should be stopped at once said Pradhan.

The GJM seems out of track at present he added.
