The Akhil Bharatiya Gorkha League General Secretary, Pratap Khati today claimed that 5 more arrests by the CBI related to Madan Tamang murder case was done only after the ABGL filed a petition at the Supreme Court demanding for a Writ SIT to look into the murder case. Khati advocated that only because of the demand the CBI were pressurized and they were compelled to arrest the accused. Though the accused are in hospital at present having been complained of ill health, Khati expressed hope that justice will be done as the Supreme Court has ordered that the hospitalized accused can be arrested by the Police any day.

The hearing of the case will be on Monday and the CBI has asked for 7 days remand of the accused. Khati also hoped that the mastermind of the murder will also be arrested soon.
