Reopening of schools bounces back Kalimpong town back to life

Kalimpong, February 18:
Some schools of Kalimpong which started their winter vacations in December last year have reopened from today onwards. Along with the reopening the schools are now bucking up for the forthcoming Madhyamik and ICSE examinations scheduled to be held from February 25 and February 27, respectively. With the schools being reopened Kalimpong town seems to coming back to life. Most of the book shops here are seen flocked with students and parents. Also the process of distributing the free school books by the government has started. The toddlers who are going to school for the first time, are seen eager and happy. The market is also flooded with people who have come from Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, areas of West Bengal, Thailand, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, etc. to escort their wards to the schools they are studying here.
