Various news channels with gathered at the Mela Ground meet if the Morcha today asked Bimal Gurung his viewpoints about the killing of a Police officer in Kolkata recently. Gurung firstly expressed his sadness over the incident and said that the President’s Rule should be apply in the state. He opined that after the application of the said rule, the situation of the state will come under control. He added that even the Morcha will demand the President and the Home Minister to apply the rule in the state. Gurung added that it does not suit the state’s Chief Minister to create a chaotic situation in the state. Lastly, when asked to compare between the Trinamool Congress’s (TMC) government and the earlier Left Front’s government, Gurung abruptly stated, “The TMC is hundred times worse than the Left Front”.
