The Gorkhaland Task Force (GTF) president, Sukhman Moktan and GTF national coordinator, R Moktan, with a handful of documents related to the Gorkhaland demand went to meet the Shiv Sena chief, Uddhav Thackerey at Mumbai, today. However, they could not meet the Shiv Sena chief, thus, the GTF representatives met with Uddhav Thackerey’s supporters and explained them about the Gorkhaland demand and handed over the documents.

Further, they met with Raj Thackerey at head office of Maharashtra Nav Nirman Sena situated at Matoshree Tower, Shivaji Park. Highlighting the issues faced by the Indian Gorkhas and the contributions made by them, the GTF faction presented the related documents to Raj Thackerey.

Raj Thackerey assured every help and support possible from his side for the Gorkhaland demand.
