The CPM leader, Tara Sundas has complained that the recruitment process for the ICDS staffs is not being done as per the rules. He alleged that the officials of the Recruitment Board are absent during the interview process. The President of the Board, Secretary and the Sub Divisional Officer are to be present during the same, he added. Along with them the departmental officers are also present, he told.

Sundas demanded that the recruitment should be done according to the rules. He also urged those candidates who were confident but their names have not been shortlisted to file and RTI and assured that he will be supporting such candidates.

At present the recruitment is being done for the posts that were vacant since 2010.

Sundas also complained that it has not been mentioned clearly that how many seats/ posts have been reserved for the SCs/ STs and physically disabled. He demanded that this should be announced soon and also insisted that the vacant posts for the ICDS Supervisors should also be filled.
