The 166th monthly Literary and thoughtful seminar of Basibiyalo was held today at a local Hotel in Kalimpong. The seminar was organized by Zion Lepcha. The renowned literary figures, young litterateur and senior citizens from in and around Kalimpong were present.

The main attraction of the program was the release of “Samay ko Ninad”, a compilation of poems Tara Lohar Lepcha. The same was released by chief guest poet Sanumati Rai, guest of Honor PR Pradhan, BR Chettri, TB Thakuri as well as young critics Joy Cactus and DS Lohar.

The review of the poem collection was given by Joy Cactus. During the program, Madan Ojha, Nirmala Shreshtha, Pranes Deep Tamang and Tika Bhai recited their poems. The poet’s fathers DS Lohar along with the other members of the family were also present. This is Tara Lohar Lepcha’s second poems collection. Before this, her poem collection “Anyay ko Birodh Utheko Aawaz” has been published.
