Four deaths reported from in and around Kalimpong in a day

Kalimpong, April 11:
Death of four individuals at different places in and around Kalimpong has been reported today. As per the information received one Ramesh Sharma, resident of Pudung succumbed to his injuries at the Kalimpong hospital today after having involved in a road accident. According to Mahananda Subedi, the truck driver, the deceased had gone to buy an ice cream while being stuck in a traffic jam. Subedi slowly drove the truck in the jam unknown that Sharam was trying to get in the truck. Later realizing that Sharma was injured, Subedi took him to the hospital where he died.
Likewise, in another incident, a labourer was found dead by his friends on the banks of River Teesta near Likhu Bheer, NI 31A. The deceased who has been identified as Raju Tamang (45) is being opined to have died due to falling from the cliff. None of his family members could be traced, thus, the body was handed over to Mohan Biswakarma, one of the labourers of the same area.
Further, a dead body was recovered from a rented room of a house near Novelty Cinema. The deaceased, Daniel Rai was living there since past 5-6 years. Since no family members were traced. The body was handed over to the members of the Samaritan Church.
Similarly an unidentified body has been lying at the morgue of Kalimpong Sub divisional hospital since last 3 days. The unknown person had come to the hospital for medical treatment from Rambi.
