TRILOK SUBBA OF KALIMPONG CREATS NEW HISTORY WINNING 3 GOLD MEDAL IN THE INTERNATIONAL TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP.

taekwondo players represented India in the 7th.CK
Malaysia Classic International Taekwondo Championship-2013 brought
laurels to the State as well as Country at Kualalumpur,Malaysia.
Nineteen
members team contingent from India,total sixteen players and three
officials represented Country in the 7th.CK Malaysia Classic
International Taekwondo Championshp-2013 which was held at Stadium Badminton Chiras, Kualalampur, Malaysia from 23rd. To 25th.August
2013.
Taekwondo players of Sikkim Amateur
Taekwondo Association(SATA) created a history
winning four Gold medals,two Silver medals and three Bronze medals in
this championship and the rest players from India got two Gold and three Bronze
medals for the country.
In the senior team taekwondo poomsae event Master Trilok Subba,6th.Dan,Rajen
Subba,4th.Dan and Amit Pradhan,1st.Dan won a Gold Medal defeating
New Zealand in the semi finals and Srilanka in the finals.
In the senior pairs taekwondo poomsae event Master Trilok Subba,6th.Dan
and Ms.Sabitri Pradhan,5th.Dan won Gold medals.
In the 1st.Master individual taekwondo poomsae mens event
Master Trilok Subba,6th.Dan won Gold medal winning against
Srilanka,China and Malaysia.
Mr.Rajen Subba,4th.Dan won a
Bronze medal in the same category.
In the 1st.Master individual womens category Ms.Sabitri
Pradhan,5th.Dan of Sikkim Police won Silver medal.
In the 2nd.Senior poomsae event Mr.Amit Pradhan,1st.Dan
of SSB,Sector HQ,Gangtok won Bronze medal.
In the kheorugi event under 72 kg.category Mr.Suman Tamang,1st.Dan
of 3rd.IRBn won Bronze medal winning against Austrilia and Iran and
finally lost to Malaysia in semi final.
Ms.Sneeha Pradhan,1st.Poom won Silver medal under 27
kg.sub-junior girls division winning against Newzeland,Indonesia and finally
lost with Malaysia in the fourth round with sudden death scoring system.
Other participents were Mr.Ganga Pradhan,1st.Dan of 1st.IRBn
who secured 5th.place in the 2nd.Senior individual
poomsae event, and Ms.Banshika Pradhan,1st.Poom also reached quarter final in
the under 55 kg. Girls kgeorugi event.
Master Trilok Subba has done hatrick winning 3 gold medals in this
championship.He had won gold medal in the 1st.Master individual
events in the year of 2011 too.
One thousand one hndred and fiftyeight
participents in the sub-junior,Juniors and seniors in both male and
female categories fromTwenty two countries had participated in this championship. Master Trilok Subba express that “we have
been preparing for this championship from august 2011 and extremely satisfied
with out teams golden victory in this international championship.”
