Some miscreant today tried to burn a ready made garment shop of Pawan Agarwal at Ongden Road .The incident happened around 2-3 a.m when Agrawal woke up due to barking of street dogs below his shop when he looked from the upper floor of his wooden house he saw some fire burning in front of his shop immediately he woke up all his family member and rushed to the spot with water and got control of the fire . Many other shops front side was seen today with diesel .The incident first of its kind in kalimpong got alarmed the police authority who visited the spot later during the day .Meanwhile GJM party has demanded immediate arrest of culprits.Kumar chamling Secretary of kalimpong GJM branch today said that this type of incident is done to make our party the target . We are not indulge in such coward act and do not support such incident so we demand the administration to act upon the culprit.
