Gorkha community daughter Asha roka has won a bronze medal at Aiba Women's Junior World Boxing Championships held in in Bulgaria  and had created a new history .Asha hail from Bhopal Madhya Pradesh and is only 14 years old . She suffered 1-2 defeat against Asakarova of Kazakhstan in the semifinals .she is the only player who has won a medal for India in the recently concluded World boxing medal.
Asha  regular practice at Tatia Tope Stadium in Bhopal which is run by state sports and youth welfare dept .Her coach Roshanlal hopes that she may become Mary Com of this country and win gold medal.
