Maurice Kalikotey granted interim bail

Kalimpong,14th NovGNLF kalimpong branch president Maurice Kalikotey who was arrested by Kalimpong Police on 14th Nov on charges of under section 143 (unlawful assembly), 506 ( criminal intimidation) and 308(extortion) has been granted interim bail by the ACJM court .
Today his counsel moved the bail plea which was accepted by the court .
Kalikotey who was moved to North Bengal Medical College after his ill health
is expected to release by tomorrow. Today he was granted bail in a extortion case which was imposed upon him on the day of his arrest.
Kalikotey had returned back to the town after six years and is believed to have spent the six years in Siliguri.
