5th International Veterans Football Tournament kicks off

Kalimpong, December 23:
A total of 18 team under the banner of North Bengal Veteran foundation are participating in the tournament.
A total of 4 match was schedule today but only three was played with the fourth one was declared bye .
The 1st
inaugural match witnessed the face-off between Sonali Otit Malda Club and Alipurduar Veterans Club, while the 2nd match was between the
Namchi Veterans Club and Malda Veterans Club.
The third match of the day saw the face off between united veterans kalimpong with Dagapur Veterans.

The 1st
match had Sonali Otit Malda Club as the winner with 3-1. The Second match saw a one sided game with
Malda Veterans Club thrashing Namchi veteran 5-1.
In the third game the host team lost to Dagapur 1-0
Meanwhile Greenland Duars was declared the winner as the opposition team Siliguri Veterans did not turn out today.
GJM CCM member Nordhen lama presided as the chief guest .Malda Veterans Club thrashing Namchi veteran 5-1.

Kalimpong P.S Incharge A Gupta was too in the field representing United Veterans kalimpong.
