Now demand for Limbu Tribal Development council comes out.

After the
formation of Lepcha Development board by the state government more then 3
other tribe have demanded the formation of similar type of council
.These tribe included Tamang, Bhutia and Sherpa. Now a new tribe has
joined the line which kick started its campaign from today in Kalimpong
When
contacted on Phone the President of the organisation N.D.Limbu said
that form today we have started our agitation for our demand through
poster which will continue with series of program in future.
He said that we are tribal and our language is old , we have our
own history,culture tradition rituals, and to conserve it we need a
council.
