Dr Harka Bahadur Chhetri MLA of Kalimpong who was rushed to Kolkatta after putting a wrong medicine in his left eye yesterday at his residence was operated at night in the  Sushrut eye hospital . According to information received from Kolkatta the cornea part of Dr Chettri was been damaged by the Acid which he incidentally put in his eye. After operation doctors have expressed confidence that the Eye will heal in about ten to fourteen days of time . Doctors have advised completed bed rest in this period but Dr.Chettri took part in the Rajya Sabha polls and within 40 minutes he was later admitted to hospital After hearing the news of Dr Chettri hospitalized Trinamool general secretary Mukul Roy, Minister Gautam Dev and several MLA visited him to access information about his health.
