CPIM leader Tara Sundas today have submitted a memorandum to Kalimpong SDO complaining about the irregularities going on in MNEREGA in GTA area.In the memorandum he has said that the Scheme provides a mean of income to jobless and under privileged section of the society but out of this scheme many are incomplete and their has been a lot of corruption in the payment as the deserving wage earners are not getting their payment regulatory and properly. Tara today said that the beneficiaries under the scheme are deprived of their right to complain against such irregularities as the Department concern the Panchayat and the BDO offices has turn a deaf ear. He has also targeted the Post Offices and Bank from which payment are maid. He have cited an example as to how money has taken put from a account of a beneficiaries without his presence. He blamed that the MNEREGA rules is openly been ignored in the Hills.

He have appealed SDO to look into the wage delay matter immediately and also have suggested to set up a Micro ATMs with which beneficiaries can be benefited directly.
