Kalimpong's Commercial establishment, hotels and restaurants just after a month of receiving the notices from the West Bengal State electricity distribution company limited (WBSEDCL) stating to clear the outstanding ,  the company has started the process of disconnecting  power supply.

Today under the guidance of Station Manager Sanjiv Agrawal the process of disconnection started in kalimpong town. Agrawal informed that a list of 26 such defaulter has been listed . He informed that the
department has issued a order from its higher authority to raise the bills or to disconnect the line of those big commercial establishment whose outstanding dues which were piled up after the (GJM) called boycott to pay the bills during the agitation period.

Earlier such notices were received by the Owners of such establishment informing to pay or to face disconnection . He informed that 1.18 Crore amount of Dr Graham Homes is the highest followed by 1.86 Lakhs of Lava Monastry has been on the list. He said that Power Minister of the State has issued a notice to department.
