GJM Party Spokesperson Dr Harka Bahadur Chettri has today said that the TMC party has betray GJM party in context of announcement of candidate for Darjeeling Lok Sabha . Chhetri said that Last month TMC Secretary Mukul Roy during Rajya Sabha polls asked three of GJM MLA to support TMC candidate in RS polls and assured us that they will be supporting GJM candidate in Lok Sabha Polls but contrary they declared the candidate without consulting GJM . 'They did not keep their word the announcement has hurt the sentiment of the Hills People'. added Chhetri.

He said that it is a clear example of  opportunistic politics. Hills people always rely on other easily that was how we were betrayed . He too attacked the TMC candidate Bhaichung Bhutia . He said what ever respect was left for Bhaichung in darjeeling now has come to an end after he decided to contest the election. Dr Chettri further said that it was good if he contest Panchayat Polls first because without knowing any ground situation and offering a ticket is totally opportunistic.He Added that Had Bhaichung set-up a football academy in Darjeeling, he would have received the vote  But as he has opted to go against the aspirations of Darjeeling, against the fight for national identity and other vital issues, he has lost all the respect people had for him,” stated Chettri. 

Whether he wins or loose but people of Darjeeling will never forgive him added Chettri. He laid stress on filing a Local Candidate this time in the polls.
