3 youths held with illegal Drugs

The Kalimpong police
yesterday night in a raid arrested two peddlers with huge amount of contraband
substances from a house situated at upper Dungra.
Police Sources
informed that the police acting on the reliable source conducted a search
during which they recovered 109 files of Spasmo Pokran , 8 files of N-ten tablet
and 98 bottles R-Cof cough syrup from the house of Biku Pradhan (28) of upper
Dungra who was arrested by the police.Acting on his information later Police
Raided the house of Rishi Pradhan of same locality and found 1228 Tablets of
Spasmo Proxygon , 100 tablets of Nitro-sun 10 and 30 bottles of Lupic cough
syrup. Meanwhile Melli Police today arrested Usman Mansur (31) of Melli bazaar with
2 file of Spasmo Proxyvon 3 File of N-Ten tablets and 2 bottles of Escuf Syrup.
All the three was today booked under section 18(c) and 27 (b) of Drugs and Cosmetic
act and were produced before kalimpong court from where they have been sent to
14 days of judicial custody.
