‘We won’t tolerate crime against women’. 'Rapist should be hanged' The frustration and the anger in these words were channeled to the streets in Kalimpong town today. The Gorkha Janmukti Morcha, students, different organization today protesting the rape of 3 yrs old at Tista and Manipur rape incident conducted a massive rally in the town.

The rally that started from Damber Chowk straightly went to the sub divisional office and submitted a memorandum. The memorandum demanded the culprits to be hang till death.It too demanded that like the speedy justice of Delhi Gang rape victim this incident victim should also get speedy justice.
Tara Lohar Lecpha Central committe leader of GJM demanded Justice not only in favor of the victims but also for the society too who have suffered injustices so far.

Similarly the rally also demanded strict laws in the Hills against such crimes which are taking place at different places.

Morcha Leader addressing the gathering expressed his sadness on the episode of the  rape that took place in the North East and Tista in the same day. They also appealed the government for the stringent punishment for the rapists.

Most of the placards that protesters held were targeted the administration and the weak legislation against the women.

Meanwhile Piranhas club too pasted posters round the town demanding capital punishment for the Culprit of Rape.
