Kalimpong MLA and GJM party spokesperson Dr Harka Bahadur Chettri has today pointed out that many opposition party in hills is helping anti-social elements . Centering his remarks on opposition party Dr Chhetri has said that anti element element are found everywhere but as we see when their is a rise of programs of opposition party in hills people follow undemocratic path more then democratic.Even more their is a increase in number of anti element element when their program happens.
Dr. Chettri said that many opposition party have included this anti social element in their party and even come to their rescue if they have committed any crime .This should not happen in the name of the party not to give credit to such elements as it will pushed forward the step to end our  society suggested  Dr. Chhetri .

“Stricter laws should be made for crime against women which should be properly implemented”, said the Kalimpong MLA, Dr Harka Bahadur Chettri on today speaking on the increasing numbers of crimes committed on women. He said Laws are there against such crimes but they are not well implemented, said the MLA and added that immediate decisions need to be made, at least within a week, and the culprits should be delivered strong punishment.

Apart from stringent laws, the most important is the change of mindset in the people. People with negative outlook are present everywhere, he told. For a positive mindset to be born within a person, he/she should be delivered proper moral values since their childhood. Morality should come right from the grass root level, he added.
