Himalshri lifts the Police public football tourney 2014
Kalimpong, November 28, 2014:
In order to keep a healthy and friendly relation
with the public, Kalimpong police station had organized a friendly
football tournament from the 24th of November 2014 which was
closed as a finale today. Law enforcers like A.K Chaturvedi-S.P, Anjali
Singh-A.S.P, Rajesh Chakravati- judge A.C.G.M , Achinta Gupta-I.C and
Col.S.K Verma-27 Mountain Division’s C.O were present to watch the
finals.
Out
of 7 teams Himalshri and G.R.C played against each other today, where
Himalshri took over the trophy with a lead of a goal. The final score
was ended as 2-1. A band was also displayed at the same program by
Kumudini Homes.
However,
the Man of The Match was titled to Shrawan Rai from the team Himalshri
and Man of the tournament to Jiles Rai from the same. The trophy was
known to be sponsored by N.H.P.C. More than the expected people turned
up to watch the match in Mela ground.
