Like every year the ICSE schools have celebrated their annual crossroad fest in Vrindavan School, 12th Mile, today with enthusiasm and amusement. All I.C.S.E schools were present in the fest where they performed breathtaking dances and enthralled the audiences with their performance which was lingered with the lasting applause's.

Vrindavan School is a co-education school which was established in 1990, they first hosted the crossroad fest on 2011 and 2015 makes their second time. ‘Being the host school is a difficult task, we have to take care of every little thing’ said Lhendup Bhutia, the chief coordinator of the fest.

The fest was held in St Augustine School last year (2014) and will be held in St. Josephs Convent in the coming year (2016) informs the chief coordinator. The school captivatingly has conceived the tagline of the fest as ‘Building Bridges-connecting young minds.’

‘Why Building Bridges is because the children unavoidably keep grudges and rancor with the students of other schools in any competitions (like volleyball or other athletics) we therefore want them to befriend children from other schools and enjoy the program positively once a year’ said the principal of the host school, Lawan Pradhan.

To avoid chaos and to even the program’s flow, few competitive programs like street photography, Rongoli designing, still life drawing, flower arrangements and creative writing was held on 28th march and 9th April respectively.

Meanwhile the winners of the aforementioned competitions were announced in the evening where Yogna Pradhan of Saptashree Gyanpeeth won the street photography competition, which was followed by Tshering Penjo Bhutia of St. Augustine school in creative writing competition, Prajwal Subba and Pranup Chettri of Vrindavan won in Rongoli designing, similarly Prashika Lepcha and Sweta Chhetri from Mount Carmel won in floral arrangement where Samarpan Pradhan of St. Augustine succeeded in still life drawing competition.

Vrindavan School is also going to celebrate their Silver Jubilee year this October.
