Mani Trust successfully completed 1 year of its Food for Helpless people initiative on 29/5/2015. A Program was organized under the Chair of Founder Shri. Subash M Singh at Shyama Devi Hall in Kalimpong.The person present in the Programme was Shri Radhe Shyam Agarwal, Chairman of Lions Club Kalimpong And Marwari Panchayat Bhawan Trust, Yimi Bhutia Association Secretary Shri Sonam Bhutia,  Social Worker Smt. Jyoti Karki, Hill Social Welfare Society Smt. Shoba Chettri, Shri. Senior Social Worker Shri. Narayan Gazmair, Councillor Kalimpong Municipality Shri. Rabhe Pradhan, Anjuman Islamia Secretary Shri Aman Chisti, Jansarokar Production Director Shri Ajay Agarwal,we're the distinguish guest present in the meeting. The Programme was coordinated by Trustee Shri. Bhim Bhujel.

The Trustee present were Smt. Reshma Singh   Shri. Rizwan Rehman,  Shri Jiwan Rai, Shri CP Khatiwara and Shri Prabodh Chettri.


Trust has successfully distributed more than 9000 packets of hygienic and healthy food to the helpless people dwelling on the roads of Kalimpong.


Subash M Singh further stated that the food that Trust has been providing covers more than 80 percent of the calories required by a human body to stay healthy.He also stated that Trust had plan to commence its Food for Helpless People Initiative in Darjeeling in the month of April but due to the recent EQ the Trust has postponed the programme for some time.

At present Mani Trust is working under its 10 Initiative namely i.e Support for Life, Health for Helpless,Food for Helpless People,Shelter for Helpless People, Serve water to Thirsty,Support for Helpless Poor,Social Information Promotion,Save Environment, Support for Education and employment Opportunity for Sustainability.
