North Bengal IG Gyanwanth Singh along with SP Darjeeling Amit P Jawalgi today visited Kalimpong to access the security arrangement ahead of proposed CM vist in kalimpong between the third week of September. CM Banerjee may visit Kalimpong between 15-19th September but the final date has not been finalized yet. CM Banerjee will be participating in the program of MLDB and Tamang cultural and Development board . The Venue of MLBD board will be Mela Ground whereas the venue for TCDB will be Ronaldshay Park at Homes area. The Police Pesonal today visited both the place and held talks with Lepcha, Bhutia, Tamang and Sherpa members at Ronaldshay Park. They also visited Delo area where mostly CM stays when she visit Kalimpong. CM Banerjee had visited Kalimpong Last September between 1-3.
