East Kolkatta Veteran team bagged the late Pem Dorjee winners cup trophy today after defeating Darjeeling Town veteran 1-0. The International veteran competition started from Feb 13 which final was played at mela ground this afternoon. Bhaichung Bhutia was present as the chief guest of the day while Renowned Football player from yester years Shyam Lama, Gopal Rai, Tshering Tenjo along with other were present as Special guest. The Runner Cup Trophy named B B Pradhan memorial cup was handed to Darjeeling Town Veteran team while the late Pem Dorjee winners cup trophy was handed over by Bhaichung to East Kolkotta Veteran team. The competition was organised to maintain a friendly relation between neighboring state and country.
